About the DJ
DJ Polo started DJing in 2000 playing Latin music in Seattle dance clubs. His passion for Latin music led to working with record labels like EMI Music, Sony Music and Universal Music. As a producer his focus was dance re-mixes for Latin artists including Ricky Martin, Gloria Trevi, Monica Naranjo, Lorena Herrera, Maria Jose and many more. This experience also led him into making Latin Music Videos and sound editing. For five years he toured with several promoters, such as Club Papi, headlining Latin Pride events across the US. In 2018 he started Polo Klubz entertainment and Eskandala Latin Night producing events featuring international Latin Artists, DJ’s and Drag performers.
Since 2000 he has also volunteered his time and resources supporting local Seattle nonprofits that support the Latin LGBTQ+ community.
Polo is a Honduran native and came to the United States in 1998 with his family. He has lived in the Seattle area ever since.
When not spinning Latin dance mixes, his passions are aviation, traveling, boating and being a dog dad.
