About the Host
Seth’s music journey started at just eight years old, planting himself at drum-sets strewn about the local music shops, and eventually in his home. Much later, inspired by memories of a forbidden trek to a small record and skate shop to spend allowance on a copy of Boards of Canada’s “Geogoddi”, Seth set his sights on music production in 2007 through use of Cakewalk and FL Studio. By 2008, Seth was working in television and various local independent productions as a Production Assistant and boom operator.
In 2010, he was taken aboard by Seattle electronic-dance duo Go Periscope, immediately filling the role of their drummer at c89.5’s fifth Listener Appreciation Party.
After years of playing shows alongside the likes of Haley Gibby, DEV, Penguin Prison, Five Seconds of Summer, Seth was contacted by Richard Dalton (executive producer) in 2014 to curate an hour of “chill” sounds for each Sunday morning right here at KNHC.
Over one decade later, syndication of Café Chill has allowed the show to reach audiences all across North America, and Seth continues to create music under various mysterious aliases.
