Grayson Rose is a Seattle-based DJ, producer, and co-founder of Sub 49 Records, a label dedicated to spotlighting the global underground house and bass scene. Known for his “silly but dangerous” approach behind the decks, Grayson blends high-octane energy with clean, deliberate sound design—balancing grit, melody, and mischief in every set.
Armed with a “Master’s in Music Production” from Berklee College of Music, Grayson combines formal training with club-born instincts to craft polished, hard-hitting tracks. His career has taken him from local club residencies to major festival stages, including Beyond Wonderland 2024, Bumbershoot, and HARD – Tacoma Dome. In 2022, his remix of “Stayin’ Alive” earned the title of #1 Remix of the Year on DJcity, marking a breakout moment in his production journey. By 2024, he was featured on C89.5’s On Wax, well before officially joining the station as co-host with James Gatz on Sub 49 Radio—a show dedicated to amplifying Sub 49 artists, Seattle’s vibrant dance community, and the sounds pushing electronic music forward.
